Brewarrina Aboriginal Cultural Museum

YOUR FIRST STOP IN BREWARRINA

Just steps away from the ancient Baiame’s Ngunnhu, the Brewarrina Aboriginal Cultural Museum should be the first stop on any visit to Brewarrina. The museum is your gateway to thousands of years of First Nations culture, Country and storytelling.

Housed in striking, purpose-built gunyahs, the museum brings to life the history of the Ngemba, Ualarai, Weilwan and Baranbinja peoples through immersive stories, ancient traditions and local art available for purchase.

Join a guided tour of the museum and the Fish Traps to experience sacred knowledge from local people in the very place their ancestors have gathered for tens of thousands of years.
